Allah is He Who sends the wind carrying water vapour extracted chiefly from the water mass on the surface of the earth to raise clouds spreading in the floor of the vault of heaven, We drive them to, a dead or droughty land where they pour their rain water with which We revive the land after it had Suffered death; similarly do We effect Resurrection

Dr Kamal Omar
And it is Allah Who directed the winds, so they lift up the clouds, then We drove that (cloud) to a dead land, then We revived therewith the land after its death. Like this (there will be) the Resurrection
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar
And it is God Who sent the winds so that they raise clouds and We drove them to a dead land and We gave life by them to the earth after its death. Thus, will be the rising
Dr Munir Munshey
It is Allah Who sends the winds, then stirs the clouds into action and drives them towards the dead and barren land. Thus, after its death, We bring the land back to life! Your return to life (after your death) shall also happen in the same manner
Edward Henry Palmer
It is God who sends the winds, and they stir up a cloud, and we irrigate therewith a dead country, and we quicken therewith the earth after its death; so shall the resurrection be
Farook Malik
It is Allah Who sends forth winds to raise up the clouds, then drives them to a dead land and therewith revive the earth after its death. Similar will be the resurrection of the dead
George Sale
It is God who sendeth the winds, and raiseth a cloud; and We drive the same unto a dead country, and thereby quicken the earth after it hath been dead: So shall the resurrection be
Maududi
It is Allah Who sends forth winds which then set the clouds in motion, which We drive to some dead land giving a fresh life to earth after it had become dead. Such will be the resurrection of the dead
