Quran with Tafsir_English translation - Surah FaTir ayat 10 - فَاطِر - Page - Juz 22
﴿مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ٱلۡعِزَّةَ فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡعِزَّةُ جَمِيعًاۚ إِلَيۡهِ يَصۡعَدُ ٱلۡكَلِمُ ٱلطَّيِّبُ وَٱلۡعَمَلُ ٱلصَّٰلِحُ يَرۡفَعُهُۥۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَمۡكُرُونَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ شَدِيدٞۖ وَمَكۡرُ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُوَ يَبُورُ ﴾
[فَاطِر: 10]
﴿من كان يريد العزة فلله العزة جميعا إليه يصعد الكلم الطيب والعمل﴾ [فَاطِر: 10]
| Dr Kamal Omar Whosoever had been desiring honour, then to Allah (Alone) belongs all honour. To Him ascends the Al-Kalimun Tayyib (The Palatable and Desirable Statement) and the righteous deeds lift it up (to an acceptable status). And those people who plot evils — for them is a severe torment. And the plotting of those people — it shall perish |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Whoever had been wanting great glory, great glory belongs to God altogether. To Him Words of what is good rise. He exalts the actions of one in accord with morality. But those who plan evil deeds, for them will be a severe punishment. And the planning of those, it will come to nothing |
| Dr Munir Munshey The one who covets (and strives for) honor and glory (should know that) the honor and might belong entirely to Allah. The worthy word of prayer ascends up to reach Him. The righteous deeds make it rise. A severe torment awaits those who devise treacherous schemes (to misguide people). The schemes of such people will come to naught |

| Maududi He who seeks glory, let him know that all glory belongs to Allah alone. To Him do good words go up, and righteous action uplifts them. But those who contrive evil deeds, a severe punishment lies in store for them, and their contriving will come to naught |
