﴿فَبَشَّرۡنَٰهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ حَلِيمٖ ﴾
[الصَّافَات: 101]
﴿فبشرناه بغلام حليم﴾ [الصَّافَات: 101]
| Dr Kamal Omar So We gave him the glad tidings of a forbearing, submissive male offspring |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar So We gave him the good tidings of a forbearing boy |
| Dr Munir Munshey So We gave him the glad tidings of a gentle lad |
| Edward Henry Palmer and we gave him glad tidings of a clement boy |
| Farook Malik So We gave him the good news of a gentle son |
| George Sale Wherefore We acquainted him that he should have a son, who should be a meek youth |
| Maududi (In response to this prayer) We gave him the good news of a prudent boy |
