﴿وَبَٰرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ وَعَلَىٰٓ إِسۡحَٰقَۚ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحۡسِنٞ وَظَالِمٞ لِّنَفۡسِهِۦ مُبِينٞ ﴾
[الصَّافَات: 113]
﴿وباركنا عليه وعلى إسحاق ومن ذريتهما محسن وظالم لنفسه مبين﴾ [الصَّافَات: 113]
| Dr Kamal Omar And We showered Blessings on him as well as on Ishaque. And out of the progeny of these two (is that who is) Muhsin (who acts right in perfection) as well as (that who is) Zalim (transgressor) to his Nafs (personality) — evidently manifest |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And We blessed him and Isaac. And of their offspring are ones who are doers of good and ones who are clearly unjust to themselves |
| Dr Munir Munshey We blessed him and Ishaq. Now, some of their descendants are righteous, while others (disbelieved and so) are unjust to their own selves |
| Edward Henry Palmer and we blessed him and Isaac;- of their seed is one who does well, and one who obviously wrongs himself |
| Farook Malik We blessed him and Isaac both. Among their progeny there are some who are righteous and some who are clearly doing wrong to their own souls |
| George Sale and We blessed him and Isaac: And of their off-spring were some righteous doers, and others who manifestly injured their own souls |
| Maududi And We blessed him and Isaac. Among the offspring of the two some did good and some plainly wronged themselves |
