﴿قَالَ قَآئِلٞ مِّنۡهُمۡ إِنِّي كَانَ لِي قَرِينٞ ﴾
[الصَّافَات: 51]
﴿قال قائل منهم إني كان لي قرين﴾ [الصَّافَات: 51]
| Dr Kamal Omar One speaker from amongst them said: “Verily I, there was a companion to me (while I stayed in the world) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar One of them who converses would say: Truly, I had a comrade |
| Dr Munir Munshey One of them would say to others, "I had a friend |
| Edward Henry Palmer and a speaker amongst them shall say, 'Verily, I had a mate |
| Farook Malik One of them will say: "I had a friend |
| George Sale And one of them shall say, verily I had an intimate friend while I lived in the world |
| Maududi One of them will say: "I had a companion in the world |
