﴿إِذۡ عُرِضَ عَلَيۡهِ بِٱلۡعَشِيِّ ٱلصَّٰفِنَٰتُ ٱلۡجِيَادُ ﴾
[صٓ: 31]
﴿إذ عرض عليه بالعشي الصافنات الجياد﴾ [صٓ: 31]
| Dr Kamal Omar When there were brought for review before him, in the later part of afternoon, As-Safinat (noblest breed, well trained) Al-Jiyad (horses, specially desired in the military) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar When they were presented before him in the evening—steeds standing with one foot slightly raised— |
| Dr Munir Munshey One day in the late afternoon, swift-footed highbred horses were presented to him |
