﴿وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱللَّهُ وَحۡدَهُ ٱشۡمَأَزَّتۡ قُلُوبُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ إِذَا هُمۡ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ ﴾
[الزُّمَر: 45]
﴿وإذا ذكر الله وحده اشمأزت قلوب الذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة وإذا ذكر﴾ [الزُّمَر: 45]
Dr Kamal Omar And when Allah was described in His (absolute) Oneness, the hearts of those who do not have Faith or Belief in the Hereafter, felt disgust. And when those who are besides Him came in discussion (out of their so called intercessors and sharers in the Dominion of Allah), immediately they experience satisfaction and joy |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And when God alone was remembered, the hearts shuddered of those who believe not in the world to come. But when those who, other than Him, were remembered, that is when they rejoice at the good tidings |
