﴿إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لِتَحۡكُمَ بَيۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِمَآ أَرَىٰكَ ٱللَّهُۚ وَلَا تَكُن لِّلۡخَآئِنِينَ خَصِيمٗا ﴾
[النِّسَاء: 105]
﴿إنا أنـزلنا إليك الكتاب بالحق لتحكم بين الناس بما أراك الله ولا﴾ [النِّسَاء: 105]
Dr Kamal Omar Surely, We have delivered towards you Al-Kitab, in Original, so that you may judge and give decision between people (who are in dispute or opposition in a matter) based on that (law and constitution) which Allah has shown you (in His Al-Kitab). And be not a pleader and advocate for the treacherous and fraudulent |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Truly, We caused to descend to thee the Book with The Truth so that thou wilt give judgment between humanity by what God caused thee to see. And be thou not the pleader for ones who are traitors |
Dr Munir Munshey Indeed, We have revealed to you the book with the (absolute) truth. So that, you may judge among people (in accordance) with what Allah has guided you. Do not act as a pleader and a proponent for the treacherous _ those who betray their trust |
Edward Henry Palmer Verily, we have revealed to thee the Book in truth that thou mayest judge between men of what God has shown thee; so be not with the treacherous a disputant |
Farook Malik We have revealed to you the Book with the Truth so that you may judge between people in accordance with the Right Way which Allah has shown you, so be not an advocate for those who betray trust |
George Sale We have sent down unto thee the book of the Koran with truth; that thou mayest judge between men through that wisdom which God sheweth thee therein; and be not an advocate for the fraudulent |
Maududi (O Messenger!) We have revealed to you this Book with the Truth so that you may judge between people in accordance with what Allah has shown you. So do not dispute on behalf of the dishonest |
