﴿وَإِن مِّنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ إِلَّا لَيُؤۡمِنَنَّ بِهِۦ قَبۡلَ مَوۡتِهِۦۖ وَيَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ يَكُونُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ شَهِيدٗا ﴾
[النِّسَاء: 159]
﴿وإن من أهل الكتاب إلا ليؤمنن به قبل موته ويوم القيامة يكون﴾ [النِّسَاء: 159]
| Dr Kamal Omar And (one is) not (to be regarded as) from among Ahl-ul-Kitab unless (and until) he surely Believes in (and accepts) this (Book) prior to his (own) death; and on the Day of Resurrection (This Book) will act as a witness (to judge them for their deeds) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Yet there is none among the People of the Book but will, surely, believe in Jesus before his death. And on the Day of Resurrection he will be a witness against them |
