﴿إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُنَادَوۡنَ لَمَقۡتُ ٱللَّهِ أَكۡبَرُ مِن مَّقۡتِكُمۡ أَنفُسَكُمۡ إِذۡ تُدۡعَوۡنَ إِلَى ٱلۡإِيمَٰنِ فَتَكۡفُرُونَ ﴾
[غَافِر: 10]
﴿إن الذين كفروا ينادون لمقت الله أكبر من مقتكم أنفسكم إذ تدعون﴾ [غَافِر: 10]
| Dr Kamal Omar Certainly, those who have disbelieved will be addressed (thus): “Surely Allah’s aversion is greater (against you) than your aversion against your (sinning) selves when you are called to the Faith (in your worldly life) but you reject (and disbelieve).” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar It will be proclaimed to those who were ungrateful: Certainly, the repugnance of God is greater than your repugnance of yourselves when you are called to belief, but you are ungrateful |

| Maududi It will be announced to the unbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection): "Surely Allah´s abhorrence of you when you were called to believe but you disbelieved was greater than is your abhorrence of yourselves today |
