﴿وَقِهِمُ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِۚ وَمَن تَقِ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ يَوۡمَئِذٖ فَقَدۡ رَحِمۡتَهُۥۚ وَذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ ﴾
[غَافِر: 9]
﴿وقهم السيئات ومن تق السيئات يومئذ فقد رحمته وذلك هو الفوز العظيم﴾ [غَافِر: 9]
| Dr Kamal Omar And save them (from the bad effects of) the sins, and whomsoever You save (from the after-effects of) the sins this Day, then surely You have showered on him (Your) Mercy. And that: that is the supreme achievement |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And guard them from the evil deeds. And whomever Thou hast guarded from the evil deeds on that Day. Surely, Thou hadst had mercy on him. And that, it is the winning the sublime triumph |
| Dr Munir Munshey (Oh Lord)! Save them from the evil (outcome)! The one spared the evil (outcome) that day (would be successful) because of Your mercy upon him. That, in fact is the greatest (possible) success |
| Edward Henry Palmer and guard them from evil deeds, for he whom thou shalt guard from evil deeds on that day, thou wilt have had mercy on, and that is mighty bliss |
| Farook Malik Deliver them from all evil. He whom You will deliver from the punishment of their sins on that Day will surely earn Your Mercy and that will surely be the highest achievement |
| George Sale And deliver them from evil; for whomsoever Thou shalt deliver from evil on that day, on him wilt Thou shew mercy; and this will be great salvation |
| Maududi and guard them against all ills. He whom You guard against ills on that Day, to him You have surely been Most Merciful. That is the great triumph |
