﴿ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ قَرَارٗا وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بِنَآءٗ وَصَوَّرَكُمۡ فَأَحۡسَنَ صُوَرَكُمۡ وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمۡۖ فَتَبَارَكَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ﴾
[غَافِر: 64]
﴿الله الذي جعل لكم الأرض قرارا والسماء بناء وصوركم فأحسن صوركم ورزقكم﴾ [غَافِر: 64]
| Dr Kamal Omar Allah is He Who has made for you the earth as a resting-bed and the sky as a roof; and He gave you a proper shape — so He made your appearances perfect; and He provided you provision out of palatable, useful items. This to you is Allah, your Nourisher-Sustainer. So Blessed be Allah, Nourisher-Sustainer to the worlds |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar God is He Who made the earth for you as a stopping place and the heaven as a canopy. And He formed you and formed you well and He provided you of what is good. That is God, your Lord. Then, blessed be God, the Lord of the worlds |
| Dr Munir Munshey It is Allah Who arranged for this earth to be your (temporary) abode, and the sky to be the dome over you. He fashioned you in the best possible form and granted you the most wholesome (provisions). Such is Allah, your Lord! (High and) Hallowed is Allah, the Lord of the world |

| Maududi Allah it is Who made the earth a dwelling place for you and made the sky a canopy, Who shaped you ? and shaped you exceedingly well ? and gave you good things as sustenance. That is Allah, your Lord; blessed be Allah, the Lord of the Universe |
