﴿۞ إِلَيۡهِ يُرَدُّ عِلۡمُ ٱلسَّاعَةِۚ وَمَا تَخۡرُجُ مِن ثَمَرَٰتٖ مِّنۡ أَكۡمَامِهَا وَمَا تَحۡمِلُ مِنۡ أُنثَىٰ وَلَا تَضَعُ إِلَّا بِعِلۡمِهِۦۚ وَيَوۡمَ يُنَادِيهِمۡ أَيۡنَ شُرَكَآءِي قَالُوٓاْ ءَاذَنَّٰكَ مَا مِنَّا مِن شَهِيدٖ ﴾
[فُصِّلَت: 47]
﴿إليه يرد علم الساعة وما تخرج من ثمرات من أكمامها وما تحمل﴾ [فُصِّلَت: 47]
| Dr Kamal Omar To Him is referred the knowledge of the Hour (by all men of learning). And does not come out of its sheath any of the fruits; and does not conceive any one of the females, and nor she delivers, but with His Knowledge. And the Day He calls unto them: “Where (have gone) My (so-called) partners?” They said: “We have informed You — there is not from amongst us (any one) out of a witness (to our false claims that You had partners in Your Dominion).” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar To Him is returned the knowledge of the Hour. No fruits go forth from its sheath and no female conceives or brings forth offspring but with His knowledge. And on a Day He will cry out to them: Where are My ascribed associates? They would say: We proclaimed to Thee that none of us was a witness to that |
| Dr Munir Munshey The knowledge of the hour (of Judgment) is held back by Him. No fruit ever blooms from its bud, and no female ever (conceives and) carries to term except with His knowledge (and permission). On that day (of Judgment), the unbelievers would be asked, "(Now), where are those partners you attributed to Me?" They will reply, "We have confessed before You. None of us can bear witness (about them) |

| George Sale Unto Him is reserved the knowledge of the hour of judgment: And no fruit cometh forth from the knops which involve it; neither doth any female conceive in her womb, nor is she delivered of her burden, but with his knowledge. On the day whereon He shall call them to Him, saying, where are my companions which ye ascribed unto Me? They shall answer, we assure Thee there is no witness of this matter among us |
