﴿أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ نَتَقَبَّلُ عَنۡهُمۡ أَحۡسَنَ مَا عَمِلُواْ وَنَتَجَاوَزُ عَن سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ فِيٓ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡجَنَّةِۖ وَعۡدَ ٱلصِّدۡقِ ٱلَّذِي كَانُواْ يُوعَدُونَ ﴾
[الأحقَاف: 16]
﴿أولئك الذين نتقبل عنهم أحسن ما عملوا ونتجاوز عن سيئاتهم في أصحاب﴾ [الأحقَاف: 16]
| Dr Kamal Omar They are those from whom We shall accept the better of what they did, and We will overlook their evil deeds. (They as a group shall stay) among the companions of the Garden — a promise of truth which they have been promised |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Those are those from whom We will receive the fairer of what they did and we will pass on by their evil deeds. They are among the Companions of the Garden. This is the promise of sincerity that they had been promised |
| Dr Munir Munshey Such are the ones! We would accept the best of their deeds, and We would overlook their faults and shortcomings. They shall be among the inhabitants of paradise. The solemn and sincere promise made to them (in the life of the world) will indeed be fulfilled |
