﴿تُدَمِّرُ كُلَّ شَيۡءِۭ بِأَمۡرِ رَبِّهَا فَأَصۡبَحُواْ لَا يُرَىٰٓ إِلَّا مَسَٰكِنُهُمۡۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ ﴾
[الأحقَاف: 25]
﴿تدمر كل شيء بأمر ربها فأصبحوا لا يرى إلا مساكنهم كذلك نجزي﴾ [الأحقَاف: 25]
| Dr Kamal Omar It shall destroy everything under the order of her Nourisher-Sustainer. So they became (such people that) nothing is seen except their houses. Thus do We recompense the nation of criminals |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar It will destroy everything at the command of its Lord. So it came to be in the morning nothing was seen but their dwellings. Thus, We give recompense to the folk, ones who sin |
| Dr Munir Munshey By its Lord´s command, it will destroy everything." They were wiped out completely! Except for their ruins and dwellings, no traces of them could be seen! This is how We punish the guilty nation |
