﴿وَمَن لَّا يُجِبۡ دَاعِيَ ٱللَّهِ فَلَيۡسَ بِمُعۡجِزٖ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَيۡسَ لَهُۥ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوۡلِيَآءُۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٍ ﴾
[الأحقَاف: 32]
﴿ومن لا يجب داعي الله فليس بمعجز في الأرض وليس له من﴾ [الأحقَاف: 32]
| Dr Kamal Omar And whosoever does not respond to Allah’s summoner, then he would not be one who will frustrate (Allah) on the earth; and (there are) not for him, besides Him (any) auliya. Those people (who do not respond to the Message of Allah) are in manifest error |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And who answers not to one who calls to God? He is not one who frustrates Him in and on the earth. And there will not be for him other than God any protectors. Those are clearly gone astray |
| Dr Munir Munshey Whoever refuses to respond to the one calling towards Allah, cannot elude Him on earth; he cannot find any friends or protectors to guard him against (Allah). Such ones are clearly lost and wayward |
| Edward Henry Palmer And whoso responds not to God's crier shall not frustrate Him in the earth, and shall not have any patrons beside Him:- these are in obvious error |
| Farook Malik He that does not answer the one who is calling towards Allah, shall neither escape in the earth, nor shall have any to protect from Him. Surely such people are in manifest error |
| George Sale And whoever obeyeth not God's preacher, shall by no means frustrate God's vengeance on earth: neither shall he have any protectors besides Him. These will be in a manifest error |
| Maududi And he who does not respond to the one who calls to Allah will not be able to frustrate Him on earth, nor will they have anyone to protect them from Allah. Such people are in manifest error |
