﴿ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَالُواْ لِلَّذِينَ كَرِهُواْ مَا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ سَنُطِيعُكُمۡ فِي بَعۡضِ ٱلۡأَمۡرِۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ إِسۡرَارَهُمۡ ﴾
[مُحمد: 26]
﴿ذلك بأنهم قالوا للذين كرهوا ما نـزل الله سنطيعكم في بعض الأمر﴾ [مُحمد: 26]
| Dr Kamal Omar That is because they said to those who hated what Allah has sent down: “Soon we obey you in some of the matters.” And Allah Knows their secret (thoughts) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar That is because they said to those who disliked what God sent down: We will obey you in some of the affair. And God knows what they keep secret |
| Dr Munir Munshey Because they say to those who hate Allah´s revelation, "In some matters we will follow you." Allah is well-Aware of their secret conversation |
| Edward Henry Palmer That is for that they say to those who are averse from what God has revealed, 'We will obey you in part of the affair!' but God knows their secrets |
| Farook Malik That is why they said to those who showed an aversion to what Allah has revealed: "We shall obey you in some matters," and Allah knows their secret talks |
| George Sale This shall befall them, because they say privately unto those who detest what God hath revealed, we will obey you in part of the matter. But God knoweth their secrets |
| Maududi This, because they said to those who are averse to the faith that Allah has revealed: "In some matters we shall obey you." Allah has full knowledge of their secret parleys |
