﴿لِّيُدۡخِلَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ جَنَّٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَيُكَفِّرَ عَنۡهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ فَوۡزًا عَظِيمٗا ﴾
[الفَتح: 5]
﴿ليدخل المؤمنين والمؤمنات جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها ويكفر عنهم﴾ [الفَتح: 5]
Dr Kamal Omar so that He may admit the Believing males and the Believing females to Gardens, flow beneath them rivers, abiders therein; and (so that) He may write-off from them their misdeeds. And became this, in the sight of Allah, a supreme gain |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar that He causes to enter the males, ones who believe and the females, ones who believe Gardens beneath which rivers run, ones who will dwell in them forever, and that He absolve them of their evil deeds. And that had been with God a winning a sublime triumph |
Dr Munir Munshey So He may usher the believing men and the believing women into the gardens of paradise _ rivers run right through it. They shall live there forever, and He will cleanse their sins (and correct their faults and flaws). That according to Allah, is the greatest triumph |

Maududi (He did this) to admit the believers, both men and women, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they shall abide, and to efface their evil deeds from them. That, in Allah´s sight, is the supreme triumph |
