﴿إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَغُضُّونَ أَصۡوَٰتَهُمۡ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱمۡتَحَنَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمۡ لِلتَّقۡوَىٰۚ لَهُم مَّغۡفِرَةٞ وَأَجۡرٌ عَظِيمٌ ﴾
[الحُجُرَات: 3]
﴿إن الذين يغضون أصواتهم عند رسول الله أولئك الذين امتحن الله قلوبهم﴾ [الحُجُرَات: 3]
| Dr Kamal Omar Verily, those who lower their voices in the presence of Allah’s Messenger, they are those whose hearts Allah has tested for piety. For them is forgiveness and a mighty reward |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Truly, those who lower their voices near the Messenger of God, those are those who are ones God put to test their hearts for God-consciousness. For them is forgiveness and a sublime compensation |
