﴿يَٰٓأَهۡلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ قَدۡ جَآءَكُمۡ رَسُولُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمۡ كَثِيرٗا مِّمَّا كُنتُمۡ تُخۡفُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَيَعۡفُواْ عَن كَثِيرٖۚ قَدۡ جَآءَكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ نُورٞ وَكِتَٰبٞ مُّبِينٞ ﴾
[المَائدة: 15]
﴿ياأهل الكتاب قد جاءكم رسولنا يبين لكم كثيرا مما كنتم تخفون من﴾ [المَائدة: 15]
| Dr Kamal Omar O people who posses Al-Kitab! Verily, Our Messenger has come to you. He explains to you much out of that which you used to hide from Al-Kitab and he forgives much. Indeed there has come to you from Allah Noor and Kitab un Mobin |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar O People of the Book! Surely, Our Messenger drew near you. He makes manifest to you much of what you had been concealing of the Book and pardons much. Surely, from God drew near you a light and a clear Book |
| Dr Munir Munshey Oh you, the people of the book! Our messenger has now come to you. He clarifies for you a lot of things in your scriptures, those that you had concealed from others; and he overlooks a lot (of your misdeeds). A beacon (of guidance) has come to you! The illuminating book from Allah |
| Edward Henry Palmer O ye people of the Book! our Apostle has come to you to explain to you much of what ye had hidden of the Book, and to pardon much. There has come to you from God a light, and a perspicuous Book |

| George Sale O ye who have received the scriptures, now is our apostle come unto you, to make manifest unto you many things which ye concealed in the scriptures; and to pass over many things. Now is light and a perspicuous book of revelations come unto you from God |
| Maududi People of the Book! Now Our Messenger has come to you: he makes clear to you a good many things of the Book which you were wont to conceal, and also passes over many things. There has now come to you a light from Allah, and a clear Book |
