﴿بَلۡ كَذَّبُواْ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمۡ فَهُمۡ فِيٓ أَمۡرٖ مَّرِيجٍ ﴾
[قٓ: 5]
﴿بل كذبوا بالحق لما جاءهم فهم في أمر مريج﴾ [قٓ: 5]
| Dr Kamal Omar Nay! They have belied Al-Haqq (‘The Truth’) when it reached them. So they are in a state of doubt and disagreement |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Nay! They denied The Truth when it drew near them, so they are in a confused state of affairs |
| Dr Munir Munshey No! In fact they rejected the truth (about the hereafter) just as soon as it came to them. So now they are perturbed and perplexed |
| Edward Henry Palmer Nay, they call the truth a lie when it comes to them, and they are in a confused affair |
| Farook Malik Nay! But these people deny the truth when it comes to them, and they are confused |
| George Sale But they charge falsehood on the truth, after it hath come unto them: Wherefore they are plunged in a confused business |
