﴿وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَنۢبَآءِ مَا فِيهِ مُزۡدَجَرٌ ﴾
[القَمَر: 4]
﴿ولقد جاءهم من الأنباء ما فيه مزدجر﴾ [القَمَر: 4]
| Dr Kamal Omar And surely, indeed there came to them of the news, that, wherein (is) a strictly warned personality |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And, certainly, the tidings drew near them wherein was that which is to deter |
| Dr Munir Munshey Surely, stories have come to them (from the past) with sufficient moral example to restrain them (from being arrogant) |
| Edward Henry Palmer There has come to them some information with restraint in it |
| Farook Malik There has already come to them the information of former nations containing enough deterrents |
| George Sale And now hath a message come unto them, wherein is a determent from obstinate infidelity |
| Maududi Surely there came to them narratives (of the ancient nations) that should suffice to deter (them from transgression) |
