﴿إِنَّمَا ٱلنَّجۡوَىٰ مِنَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِ لِيَحۡزُنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَلَيۡسَ بِضَآرِّهِمۡ شَيۡـًٔا إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ ﴾
[المُجَادلة: 10]
﴿إنما النجوى من الشيطان ليحزن الذين آمنوا وليس بضارهم شيئا إلا بإذن﴾ [المُجَادلة: 10]
Dr Kamal Omar Surely, what is a secret counsel (for the sake of opposition and disobedience is) from the Satan — in order that he may cause grief to those who have Believed. And he is not one who is able to cause harm to them in the least except under permission of Allah. And in Allah let the Believers put (their) trust |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Conspiring secretly is only from Satan that he dishearten those who believed. But he is not one who injures them at all, but with the permission of God. In God let the ones who believe put their trust |

Maududi Whispering is an act of Satan, one that aims at causing grief to the believers; yet without Allah´s leave no harm can be caused to them. So in Allah should the believers put all their trust |
