﴿يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا قِيلَ لَكُمۡ تَفَسَّحُواْ فِي ٱلۡمَجَٰلِسِ فَٱفۡسَحُواْ يَفۡسَحِ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡۖ وَإِذَا قِيلَ ٱنشُزُواْ فَٱنشُزُواْ يَرۡفَعِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنكُمۡ وَٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ دَرَجَٰتٖۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرٞ ﴾
[المُجَادلة: 11]
﴿ياأيها الذين آمنوا إذا قيل لكم تفسحوا في المجالس فافسحوا يفسح الله﴾ [المُجَادلة: 11]
| Dr Kamal Omar O you who have Believed! When it is told unto you: “Make a place (to accommodate others) in the gatherings, then do create a place (for others); Allah will provide a place for you (under His Mercy). And when it has been announced: 'Disperse', then rise up and move. Allah will elevate those who have Believed amongst you. And for those who have been given Knowledge (are) ranks (much higher). And Allah is Well-Acquainted with what you do |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar O those who believed! When it was said to you: Make ample space in the assemblies, then, make room. God will make room for you. And when it was said: Move up, then, move up. God will exalt those among you who believed and those who were given the knowledge in degrees. And God is Aware of what you do |
| Dr Munir Munshey Oh those of you who believe! Make room (for others) in the gatherings when you are asked to do so. Allah will make room for you (in the life-to-come). Get up when you are asked to rise. (In the hereafter) Allah will raise the ranks of those of you who believe, and those granted the knowledge. Allah is well-Aware of what you do |
