﴿فَكَانَ عَٰقِبَتَهُمَآ أَنَّهُمَا فِي ٱلنَّارِ خَٰلِدَيۡنِ فِيهَاۚ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَٰٓؤُاْ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[الحَشر: 17]
﴿فكان عاقبتهما أنهما في النار خالدين فيها وذلك جزاء الظالمين﴾ [الحَشر: 17]
Dr Kamal Omar So came the final end of those two (i.e., the Satan and the one who fell victim to his whispering) — that both of them (went) into the Fire as abiders therein. And this is the recompense for the transgressors |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar The Ultimate End of both of them will be that they be in the fire, ones who will dwell in it forever. And that is the recompense of the ones who are unjust |
Dr Munir Munshey The final outcome would be: both of them _ (Shaitan the enticer, and the man accepting his suggestion) _ would be (thrown) in the fire. Both would live there forever! And that is the befitting treatment for the evildoers |
