Quran with Tafsir_English translation - Surah Al-An‘am ayat 135 - الأنعَام - Page - Juz 8
﴿قُلۡ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡمَلُواْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمۡ إِنِّي عَامِلٞۖ فَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ مَن تَكُونُ لَهُۥ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلدَّارِۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفۡلِحُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 135]
﴿قل ياقوم اعملوا على مكانتكم إني عامل فسوف تعلمون من تكون له﴾ [الأنعَام: 135]
| Dr Kamal Omar Say: “O my nation! Act according to your way, surely I am (also) one who acts. So soon you will know who (is it) in whose interest happens the final settlement about the residence (in the Hereafter). Certainly it is (that) the transgressors do not succeed |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Say: O my folk! Act according to your ability. Truly, I too am one who acts. Then, you will know for whom the Ultimate End will be the abode. Truly, the ones who are unjust will not prosper |
| Dr Munir Munshey Say, "Oh my people, you do as you please! I will do my part! Soon you will find out, who gets the house of the hereafter. Evildoers will certainly not prosper |
| Edward Henry Palmer Say, 'O my people! act according to your power, verily, I am acting too; and soon shall ye know whose is the future of the abode!' verily, the unjust shall not prosper |
| Farook Malik O Muhammad, tell them: "O my people! If you don’t listen to me, do whatever you want and I’ll do whatever I deem right; you will soon find out who is to gain the reward of the hereafter; rest assured that the wrongdoers will not get salvation |
| George Sale Say unto those of Mecca, O my people, act according to your power; verily I will act according to my duty: And hereafter shall ye know whose will be the reward of paradise. The ungodly shall not prosper |
| Maududi Say (O Muhammad!): ´O people! Work in your place; and I too am at work. Soon you will know in whose favour the ultimate decision will be. Surely the wrong-doers will not prosper.´ |
