﴿مَّن يُصۡرَفۡ عَنۡهُ يَوۡمَئِذٖ فَقَدۡ رَحِمَهُۥۚ وَذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 16]
﴿من يصرف عنه يومئذ فقد رحمه وذلك الفوز المبين﴾ [الأنعَام: 16]
Dr Kamal Omar Who is averted from it that Day, then surely He has showered Mercy on him. And that is the obvious success |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar He who is turned away from it on that Day, then, surely, He had mercy on him. And that is the winning the clear triumph |
Dr Munir Munshey The one kept away from that (torment) has indeed been shown (the ultimate) mercy. That is the greatest triumph |
Edward Henry Palmer Whomsoever it is averted from on that day, God will have had mercy on; and that is obvious happiness |
Farook Malik He who is delivered from the torment of that Day, has indeed received Allah’s Mercy; and this is a clear cut achievement |
George Sale He from whom it is averted on that day, God indeed has had mercy on him. And that indeed is a manifest achievement |
Maududi Whosoever has been spared chastisement on that Day, Allah has bestowed His mercy upon him. That is the manifest triumph |
