﴿قُلۡ أَيُّ شَيۡءٍ أَكۡبَرُ شَهَٰدَةٗۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُۖ شَهِيدُۢ بَيۡنِي وَبَيۡنَكُمۡۚ وَأُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ لِأُنذِرَكُم بِهِۦ وَمَنۢ بَلَغَۚ أَئِنَّكُمۡ لَتَشۡهَدُونَ أَنَّ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةً أُخۡرَىٰۚ قُل لَّآ أَشۡهَدُۚ قُلۡ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٞ وَٰحِدٞ وَإِنَّنِي بَرِيٓءٞ مِّمَّا تُشۡرِكُونَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 19]
﴿قل أي شيء أكبر شهادة قل الله شهيد بيني وبينكم وأوحي إلي﴾ [الأنعَام: 19]
| Dr Kamal Omar Say: “What thing is greater in testimony?” Say: “Allah is Witness between me and between you, and this Al-Quran has been made evident on me that I may warn you therewith and whomsoever it has (already) reached. Do you, with surety, must bear witness that alongwith Allah there are other ’aaliha (gods)?” Say: “I do not bear witness (to this falsehood)!” Say: “Definitely, what is a fact is that He is the only One Ilah (God). And truly I am absolved of what you indulge with in polytheism |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Say: Which thing is greater in testimony? Say: God is Witness between me and you. And this, the Quran, was revealed to me that I should warn you with it and whomever it reached. Truly, are you bearing witness that there are other gods with God? Say: I bear not such witness. Say: He is not but One God and I am, truly, free from partners you ascribe with Him |

This Qur´an has been revealed to me, so that with it I may warn you _ and anyone it reaches. Can you honestly bear witness that there are other gods besides Allah?" Say, "I cannot bear witness to that!" Say, "In fact, He is the One and the only God, (Allah), and I am absolved of all blame for your act of associating partners with Him |

" When they say Allah, then tell them: "Let Allah be Witness between me and you (that I am the Messenger of Allah) and this Qur’an has been revealed to me by Him so that I may warn you thereby and all those whom it may reach. Can you really testify that there are other gods besides Allah?" Tell them: "As far as I am concerned I will never testify to this!" Say: "Indeed He is the One and the Only God and I am absolutely disgusted with the shirk you commit |

And this Qur'an has been revealed to me so that with it I may warn you, as well as whomsoever it reaches, of the impending punishment. What! do you really bear witness that there are other gods besides God?' Say, 'I bear not witness thereto.' Say, 'He is the One God, and certainly I am innocent of that which you associate with Him |
| Maududi Ask them: ´Whose testimony is the greatest?´ Say: ´Allah is the witness between me and you; and this Qur´an was revealed to me that I should warn you thereby and also whomsoever it may reach.´ Do you indeed testify that there are other gods with Allah? Say: ´I shall never testify such a thing.´ Say: ´He is the One God and 1 am altogether averse to all that you associate with Him in His divinity.´ |
