﴿لَن تَنفَعَكُمۡ أَرۡحَامُكُمۡ وَلَآ أَوۡلَٰدُكُمۡۚ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ يَفۡصِلُ بَيۡنَكُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرٞ ﴾
[المُمتَحنَة: 3]
﴿لن تنفعكم أرحامكم ولا أولادكم يوم القيامة يفصل بينكم والله بما تعملون﴾ [المُمتَحنَة: 3]
| Dr Kamal Omar Will not give you benefit your (links of) wombs (i.e., your blood relations), and nor your children on the Day of Resurrection. (Allah) will judge between you. And Allah is (the) All-Seer of what you practice |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Your blood relations will never profit you nor your children. On the Day of Resurrection, He will distinguish among you. And God is Seeing of what you do |
| Dr Munir Munshey Your relatives and your children will not benefit you on the Day of Judgment; He will judge (all matters) between you. Allah watches everything you do |
| Edward Henry Palmer neither your kindred nor your children shall profit you upon the resurrection day; it will separate you! but God on what ye do doth look |
| Farook Malik On the Day of Resurrection, neither your relatives nor your children shall avail you. Allah will judge between you, and He is observing all your actions |
| George Sale Neither your kindred nor your children will avail you at all on the day of resurrection, which will separate you from one another: And God seeth that which ye do |
| Maududi On the Day of Resurrection neither your blood-kindred nor your own offspring will avail you. (On that Day) He will separate you. Allah sees all that you do |
