﴿وَلَا يَتَمَنَّوۡنَهُۥٓ أَبَدَۢا بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ أَيۡدِيهِمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمُۢ بِٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[الجُمعَة: 7]
﴿ولا يتمنونه أبدا بما قدمت أيديهم والله عليم بالظالمين﴾ [الجُمعَة: 7]
| Dr Kamal Omar And they will not long for that (death) ever because of what their hands have sent in advance. And Allah is All-Aware of the transgressors |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar But they will not covet it ever because of what their hands put forward. And God is Knowing of the ones who are unjust |
| Dr Munir Munshey They will never ever wish for death, because of what their own hands have wrought and sent forth. Allah knows the evil doers very well |
| Edward Henry Palmer But they never wish for it, through what their hands have sent before! but God knows the unjust |
| Farook Malik But, because of what their hands have sent before them for the hereafter, they will never wish for death. Allah knows these wrongdoers very well |
| George Sale But they will never wish for it, because of that which their hands have sent before them: And God well knoweth the unjust |
| Maududi But they shall never wish for death because of the (evil) deeds they have committed. Allah is well aware of these evil-doers |
