﴿فَذَاقَتۡ وَبَالَ أَمۡرِهَا وَكَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ أَمۡرِهَا خُسۡرًا ﴾
[الطَّلَاق: 9]
﴿فذاقت وبال أمرها وكان عاقبة أمرها خسرا﴾ [الطَّلَاق: 9]
| Dr Kamal Omar So it tasted the result of its behaviour, and the end-result of its behaviour became (nothing but) loss |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar So it experienced the mischief of its affair and the Ultimate End of its affair had been loss |
| Dr Munir Munshey They tasted the evil consequences of their conduct. The final outcome of their conduct was (nothing but) sheer loss |
| Edward Henry Palmer And they tasted the evil results of their conduct; and the end of their conduct was loss |
| Farook Malik So they tasted the fruit of their misdeeds, and the fruit of their misdeeds was perdition |
