﴿يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَا تَعۡتَذِرُواْ ٱلۡيَوۡمَۖ إِنَّمَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ ﴾
[التَّحرِيم: 7]
﴿ياأيها الذين كفروا لا تعتذروا اليوم إنما تجزون ما كنتم تعملون﴾ [التَّحرِيم: 7]
| Dr Kamal Omar (It will be said in the Hereafter), O you who have disbelieved! Make no excuses this Day. Surely what (is a fact is that) you will be rewarded whatever you used to practice |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar O those who were ungrateful! Make not excuses this Day. You are only given recompense for what you had been doing |
| Dr Munir Munshey Oh you unbelievers! Do not make excuses today. You are being punished only for what you have (actually) done (and nothing else) |
| Edward Henry Palmer O ye who disbelieve! excuse not yourselves today;- ye shall only be rewarded for that which ye have done |
| Farook Malik They will say to the unbelievers: "O unbelievers! Make no excuses for yourselves this Day. You are being rewarded according to your deeds |
| George Sale O unbelievers, excuse not yourselves this day; ye shall surely be rewarded for what ye have done |
| Maududi (It will then be said): "Unbelievers, make no excuses today. You are being recompensed for nothing else but your deeds |
