﴿وَمَا وَجَدۡنَا لِأَكۡثَرِهِم مِّنۡ عَهۡدٖۖ وَإِن وَجَدۡنَآ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَفَٰسِقِينَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 102]
﴿وما وجدنا لأكثرهم من عهد وإن وجدنا أكثرهم لفاسقين﴾ [الأعرَاف: 102]
| Dr Kamal Omar And We did not find for the majority of them (regard for observing) any portion of the covenant. And indeed, We found majority of them disobedient and rebellious |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And We found not in many of them any compact. And, truly, We found many of them are ones who disobey |
| Dr Munir Munshey In most of them, We did not find (any commitment to) the covenant. We found most of them to be the defiant evildoers |
