﴿وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَلِقَآءِ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ حَبِطَتۡ أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡۚ هَلۡ يُجۡزَوۡنَ إِلَّا مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 147]
﴿والذين كذبوا بآياتنا ولقاء الآخرة حبطت أعمالهم هل يجزون إلا ما كانوا﴾ [الأعرَاف: 147]
Dr Kamal Omar And those who belied Our Ayaat and the Meeting in the Hereafter, their actions have become of no effect. Would they be rewarded (any thing) other than what they had been doing (in their actions, concepts and thinhead of states) |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And as for those who denied Our signs and the meeting in the world to come, their actions were fruitless. Will they be given recompense but for what they had been doing |
Dr Munir Munshey The deeds of those who rejected Our signs and the meeting (with their Lord) on the Day of Judgment would come to nothing. Would they encounter the consequences of anything other than what they do |
Edward Henry Palmer But those who say our signs and the meeting of the last day are lies,-- vain are their works: shall they be rewarded save for that which they have done |
Farook Malik Those who deny Our signs and the meeting of the Hereafter, their deeds are null. Should they be rewarded except for what they have done |
George Sale And those who reject Our Signs and the meeting of the Hereafter -- their works are vain. Can they expect to be rewarded for anything except for what they do |
Maududi Vain are the deeds of those who reject Our signs as false and to the meeting of the Hereafter. Shall they be recompensed, except according to their deeds?´ |
