﴿۞ وَإِلَىٰ عَادٍ أَخَاهُمۡ هُودٗاۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥٓۚ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 65]
﴿وإلى عاد أخاهم هودا قال ياقوم اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله﴾ [الأعرَاف: 65]
| Dr Kamal Omar And to ’Ad (this is the title of an Arab nation), their brother Hud (was sent as the Messenger). He said: “O my nation! Pay obedience to Allah. (There is) not for you any god other than He. So won’t you pay obedience?” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And to Ad, God sent their brother Hud. He said: O my folk! Worship God. You have no god but He. Will you not, then, be Godfearing |
| Dr Munir Munshey And to (the people of) ´Aads´ (We sent) their brother ´Hood´. (He) said, "Oh my people, worship Allah! You do not have any god besides Him. Do you, then, not fear (Him) |

| Maududi And to ´Ad We sent forth their brother Hud. He said: ´0 my people! Serve Allah; you have no other god than Him. Will you, then, not avoid evil?´ |
