﴿وَمَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَظۡلِمُونَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 9]
﴿ومن خفت موازينه فأولئك الذين خسروا أنفسهم بما كانوا بآياتنا يظلمون﴾ [الأعرَاف: 9]
| Dr Kamal Omar An whoever: his weights (of good deeds) became very light, so they are those who brought loss for their selves because they had been behaving with Our Ayaat as transgressors |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And ones whose balance was made light from bad deeds those are those who have lost their souls because they had been doing wrong with Our signs |
| Dr Munir Munshey While the ones whose scales weigh lighter would be the losers. They had squandered themselves, because they used to unjustly (and willfully) deny Our signs (and Our revelations) |
| Edward Henry Palmer but whosesoever scales are light, they it is who lose themselves, for that they did act unjustly by our signs |
| Farook Malik and those whose scale is light, they shall find themselves in loss for they had done injustice to Our revelations |
