﴿تَدۡعُواْ مَنۡ أَدۡبَرَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ ﴾
[المَعَارج: 17]
﴿تدعو من أدبر وتولى﴾ [المَعَارج: 17]
| Dr Kamal Omar It (i.e., the blazing Fire invites) that who turned his back (to) and moved away (from Al-Kitab) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar calling whoever drew back and turned away |
| Dr Munir Munshey It will summon (by name), all those who turned their backs and ran away (from the truth) |
| Edward Henry Palmer it shall call those who retreated and turned their backs |
| Farook Malik it will be calling all those who try to escape and turn their back |
| George Sale shall call him who shall have turned his back, and fled from the faith |
| Maududi It shall insistently summon him who turned his back and retreated |
