Quran with British translation - Surah Yusuf ayat 88 - يُوسُف - Page - Juz 13
﴿فَلَمَّا دَخَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِ قَالُواْ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡعَزِيزُ مَسَّنَا وَأَهۡلَنَا ٱلضُّرُّ وَجِئۡنَا بِبِضَٰعَةٖ مُّزۡجَىٰةٖ فَأَوۡفِ لَنَا ٱلۡكَيۡلَ وَتَصَدَّقۡ عَلَيۡنَآۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُتَصَدِّقِينَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 88]
﴿فلما دخلوا عليه قالوا ياأيها العزيز مسنا وأهلنا الضر وجئنا ببضاعة مزجاة﴾ [يُوسُف: 88]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir So when they came in to him, they said: O chief! distress has afflicted us and our family and we have brought scanty money, so give us full measure and be charitable to us; surely Allah rewards the charitable |
| Mohammad Shafi So when the brothers came back to Joseph, they said, "Sir! Distress has afflicted us and our family and we have brought but little capital to pay for the rations. Give us the full ration and be charitable to us. Allah does indeed reward those that are charitable |
