﴿سَوَآءٞ مِّنكُم مَّنۡ أَسَرَّ ٱلۡقَوۡلَ وَمَن جَهَرَ بِهِۦ وَمَنۡ هُوَ مُسۡتَخۡفِۭ بِٱلَّيۡلِ وَسَارِبُۢ بِٱلنَّهَارِ ﴾
[الرَّعد: 10]
﴿سواء منكم من أسر القول ومن جهر به ومن هو مستخف بالليل﴾ [الرَّعد: 10]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Alike (to Him) among you is he who conceals (his) words and he who speaks them openly, and he who hides himself by night and (who) goes forth by day |
| Mohammad Shafi The one among you who speaks secretively, the one who speaks openly, the one who hides by night and the one who moves about freely by day — they are all the same for Allah; nothing can escape His notice |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Alike of you is he who hideth the saying and he who noiseth it abroad, he who lurketh in the night and he who goeth freely in the daytime |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani Alike (for Him) is he, from among you, who speaks quietly and he who speaks aloud, and he who hides in the night and he who walks out in the day |
