﴿وَلَا تَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَٰفِلًا عَمَّا يَعۡمَلُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَۚ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ لِيَوۡمٖ تَشۡخَصُ فِيهِ ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ ﴾
[إبراهِيم: 42]
﴿ولا تحسبن الله غافلا عما يعمل الظالمون إنما يؤخرهم ليوم تشخص فيه﴾ [إبراهِيم: 42]
Mohammad Habib Shakir And do not think Allah to be heedless of what the unjust do; He only respites them to a day on which the eyes shall be fixedly open |
Mohammad Shafi And do not think that Allah is unaware of what the wicked people do. He does but give them respite till the day when the eyes shall get transfixed |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Deem not that Allah is unaware of what the wicked do. He but giveth them a respite till a day when eyes will stare (in terror) |
