﴿وَلَا تَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَٰفِلًا عَمَّا يَعۡمَلُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَۚ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ لِيَوۡمٖ تَشۡخَصُ فِيهِ ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ ﴾
[إبراهِيم: 42]
﴿ولا تحسبن الله غافلا عما يعمل الظالمون إنما يؤخرهم ليوم تشخص فيه﴾ [إبراهِيم: 42]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Think not that God does not heed the deeds of those who do wrong. He only gives them respite for a day when the eyes will fixedly stare in horror |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And do not think that God is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. God only postpones them (their punishment) to a day that the eyes stare (in horror) in it |
Ali Quli Qarai Do not suppose that Allah is oblivious of what the wrongdoers are doing. He is only granting them respite until the day when the eyes will be glazed |
Ali Unal Never reckon that God is unaware of what the wrongdoers are doing. He only defers them to a day when their eyes will stare (in terror) |
Hamid S Aziz So think not Allah careless of what the unjust do; He only respites them until the day on which all eyes shall stare in horror |
John Medows Rodwell Think thou not that God is regardless of the deeds of the wicked. He only respiteth them to the day on which all eyes shall stare up with terror |
Literal And do not think/suppose that God (is) ignoring/neglecting from what the unjust/oppressive make/do , but God delays them to a day the eye sights/knowledge stare/gaze in it |
