﴿فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٖ مُّبِينٖ ﴾
[الحِجر: 79]
﴿فانتقمنا منهم وإنهما لبإمام مبين﴾ [الحِجر: 79]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir So We inflicted retribution on them, and they are both, indeed, on an open road (still) pursued |
| Mohammad Shafi So We avenged them, and they are both, indeed, on an open road |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall So we took vengeance on them; and lo! they both are on a high-road plain to see |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani So, We punished them in retribution, and both of them are (situated) by a highway, clearly visible |
| Muhammad Asad and so We inflicted Our retribution on them. And, behold, both these [sinful communities] lived by a highway, [to this day] plain to see |
