﴿قُل لَّوۡ كَانَ مَعَهُۥٓ ءَالِهَةٞ كَمَا يَقُولُونَ إِذٗا لَّٱبۡتَغَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ ذِي ٱلۡعَرۡشِ سَبِيلٗا ﴾
[الإسرَاء: 42]
﴿قل لو كان معه آلهة كما يقولون إذا لابتغوا إلى ذي العرش﴾ [الإسرَاء: 42]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Say: If there were with Him gods as they say, then certainly they would have been able to seek a way to the Lord of power |
| Mohammad Shafi Say, "If, as they say, there were other gods along with Him, then certainly they would have sought a way to the Lord of the Throne." a |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Say (O Muhammad, to the disbelievers): If there were other gods along with Him, as they say, then had they sought a way against the Lord of the Throne |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani Say, “Had there been other gods along with Him”, as they say, “then they would have found out a way to the Lord of the Throne” |
