﴿قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ رَسُولُ رَبِّكِ لِأَهَبَ لَكِ غُلَٰمٗا زَكِيّٗا ﴾
[مَريَم: 19]
﴿قال إنما أنا رسول ربك لأهب لك غلاما زكيا﴾ [مَريَم: 19]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir He said: I am only a messenger of your Lord: That I will give you a pure boy |
| Mohammad Shafi He said, "I am a Messenger of your Lord: I am sent to give you a gem of a boy |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall He said: I am only a messenger of thy Lord, that I may bestow on thee a faultless son |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani He said, “I am but a message-bearer of your Lord (sent) to give you a boy, purified.” |
| Muhammad Asad [The angel] answered: "I' am but a messenger of thy Sustainer, [who says,] `I shall bestow upon thee the gift of a son endowed with purity |
