﴿قَالَ أَرَاغِبٌ أَنتَ عَنۡ ءَالِهَتِي يَٰٓإِبۡرَٰهِيمُۖ لَئِن لَّمۡ تَنتَهِ لَأَرۡجُمَنَّكَۖ وَٱهۡجُرۡنِي مَلِيّٗا ﴾
[مَريَم: 46]
﴿قال أراغب أنت عن آلهتي ياإبراهيم لئن لم تنته لأرجمنك واهجرني مليا﴾ [مَريَم: 46]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir He said: Do you dislike my gods, O Ibrahim? If you do not desist I will certainly revile you, and leave me for a time |
| Mohammad Shafi He (Abraham's father) said, "Are you averse to my gods, O Abraham? If you do not desist I will certainly pelt you with stones. And leave me alone for now |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall He said: Rejectest thou my gods, O Abraham? If thou cease not, I shall surely stone thee. Depart from me a long while |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani He said, “Are you averse to my gods O Ibrāhīm? Should you not stop, I will definitely stone you. And leave me for good.” |
