Quran with British translation - Surah Maryam ayat 45 - مَريَم - Page - Juz 16
﴿يَٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ أَن يَمَسَّكَ عَذَابٞ مِّنَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ فَتَكُونَ لِلشَّيۡطَٰنِ وَلِيّٗا ﴾
[مَريَم: 45]
﴿ياأبت إني أخاف أن يمسك عذاب من الرحمن فتكون للشيطان وليا﴾ [مَريَم: 45]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir O my father! surely I fear that a punishment from the Beneficent Allah should afflict you so that you should be a friend of the Shaitan |
| Mohammad Shafi O my father! I am afraid, a punishment from the Gracious Allah may afflict you and you may befriend the Satan |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall O my father! Lo! I fear lest a punishment from the Beneficent overtake thee so that thou become a comrade of the devil |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani My dear father, I fear lest a punishment from the All- Merciful (Allah) should afflict you, and you become a companion of Satan.” |
