Quran with British translation - Surah Al-Baqarah ayat 123 - البَقَرَة - Page - Juz 1
﴿وَٱتَّقُواْ يَوۡمٗا لَّا تَجۡزِي نَفۡسٌ عَن نَّفۡسٖ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا يُقۡبَلُ مِنۡهَا عَدۡلٞ وَلَا تَنفَعُهَا شَفَٰعَةٞ وَلَا هُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 123]
﴿واتقوا يوما لا تجزي نفس عن نفس شيئا ولا يقبل منها عدل﴾ [البَقَرَة: 123]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And be on your guard against a day when no soul shall avail another in the least neither shall any compensation be accepted from it, nor shall intercession profit it, nor shall they be helped |
| Mohammad Shafi And fear the Day when none can be of any avail on anything to another or any ransom accepted. And no intercession shall benefit any one; nor shall they be helped |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And guard (yourselves) against a day when no soul will in aught avail another, nor will compensation be accepted from it, nor will intercession be of use to it; nor will they be helped |
