﴿لَا تَرۡكُضُواْ وَٱرۡجِعُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ مَآ أُتۡرِفۡتُمۡ فِيهِ وَمَسَٰكِنِكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُسۡـَٔلُونَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 13]
﴿لا تركضوا وارجعوا إلى ما أترفتم فيه ومساكنكم لعلكم تسألون﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 13]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Do not fly (now) and come back to what you were made to lead easy lives in and to your dwellings, haply you will be questioned |
| Mohammad Shafi Flee not, and come back to the affluence you were accustomed to live in and to your homes for being questioned |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (But it was said unto them): Flee not, but return to that (existence) which emasculated you and to your dwellings, that ye may be questioned |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani (It was said to them,) “Do not flee, and go back to the luxuries you were made to enjoy, and to your dwellings. May be you are asked questions.” |
