Quran with British translation - Surah Al-Mu’minun ayat 117 - المؤمنُون - Page - Juz 18
﴿وَمَن يَدۡعُ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ لَا بُرۡهَٰنَ لَهُۥ بِهِۦ فَإِنَّمَا حِسَابُهُۥ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفۡلِحُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ ﴾
[المؤمنُون: 117]
﴿ومن يدع مع الله إلها آخر لا برهان له به فإنما حسابه﴾ [المؤمنُون: 117]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful |
| Mohammad Shafi And he who prays to Allah, as also to another god besides Him, does have no evidence of any such god existing. So his case rests with his Lord only. The suppressors of the Truth shall indeed not succeed |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful |
