Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Mu’minun ayat 117 - المؤمنُون - Page - Juz 18
﴿وَمَن يَدۡعُ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ لَا بُرۡهَٰنَ لَهُۥ بِهِۦ فَإِنَّمَا حِسَابُهُۥ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفۡلِحُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ ﴾
[المؤمنُون: 117]
﴿ومن يدع مع الله إلها آخر لا برهان له به فإنما حسابه﴾ [المؤمنُون: 117]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Anyone who invokes besides God, any other god, he has no authority for that, and his reckoning will be exclusively with his Lord, and indeed the unbelievers will fail to succeed |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And whoever calls on another god with God without having any proof for that, then indeed his accounting is with his Master. Indeed the disbelievers do not succeed |
Ali Quli Qarai Whoever invokes besides Allah another god of which he has no proof, his reckoning will indeed rest with his Lord. Indeed the faithless will not be felicitous |
Ali Unal Whoever asserts the existence of another deity to worship along with God, for which it is inconceivable for him to have any evidence, will certainly be questioned by his Lord. Surely the unbelievers will not prosper |
Hamid S Aziz He who calls unto any other God along with Allah has no proof thereof; verily, his account is only with his Lord; verily, the disbelievers shall not be successful |
John Medows Rodwell And whoso, together with God, shall call on another god, for whom he hath no proof, shall surely have to give account to his Lord. Aye, it shall fare ill with the infidels |
Literal And who calls with God another god, (he has) no proof/evidence for him with it, so but his242account/calculation (is) at his Lord, that He truly does not make the disbelievers succeed/win |
Mir Anees Original And he who prays to another (presumed) god along with Allah, having no proof with him of it (being a god), then (the responsibility of taking) his account (rests) only on Allah. The infidels will certainly not be successful |
Mir Aneesuddin And he who prays to another (presumed) god along with God, having no proof with him of it (being a god), then (the responsibility of taking) his account (rests) only on God. The disbelievers will certainly not be successful |
